ROADMAP
During phase one, we’re creating a platform to elevate people and their stories.
We’re working with people with disabilities, disability advocates, and community organizations to build a foundation for the end of ableism. That foundation rooted in disability justice and lead by the people most affected by ableism.
People sharing their stories and truths will work together with Brilliant Truths and our partners to craft public awareness campaigns and build a network of advocates.
Our second phase of Brilliant Truths will focus on driving action and systems change through allyship.
By working with community leaders, employers, landlords, and the media, we will remove barriers to jobs, housing, and integrated communities. Spreading awareness and resources while promoting actionable change will be the goal of phase two.
In phase three, we’ll be able to expand our mission of co-creating thriving communities with people who have disabilities.
People with disabilities will be embraced by communities that recognize their strength, capacity, and wisdom. Access barriers will become smaller and fall away entirely.
